a question for fellow weightlifters
Does anyone have a way to do a bench press in a truck? I try doing them on my bunk, but I can't get my arms all the way down, so I don't know how effective it is. It's not really a bench press without a bench! I know some drivers carry benches in their trucks, but I really don't have room, and I hate working out outside (I'm female, and I always end up with a bunch of perverts staring at me). Any ideas on how to improvise?

Seriously, hope for a weight room at your local truck stop and most truck stops. You might customize a bunk by removing the actual bunk and installing a bench that could be adapted for sleep, I don't know if that is possible, but I would guess it could be done.

Short of that, if you have enough room, use an alternative for when you are on the road and hit the bench when you have the opportunity.Good luck with it.

i have used load bars close togther wraped with a blanket in the box or no the ground leaning against dot bumper to do dumbell presses
