| First of all , all the chains have a card you can get to swipe when you fuel . With Pilot it's the Driver Payback card . You get a free shower credit every time you purchase 50 gallons of fuel or more . With Pilot , T/A, and Luv's you also get credits of 1 penny per gallon for purchases at the chain . I stay at Pilots and Flying J's and don't see long waits for showers . Maybe he is trying at the wrong time of day . I run the same states , MI , IN , and OH . |

| Thanks for the info, I know he's mentioned the card for free showers, I guess with him it's more of a time issue than money. Thanks a million! |

| Must be a time-of-day issue? Only once have I waited more than about 10 minutes and that was because the Flying J in Lebec was renovating and had about two-thirds of their showers closed. I shower every/every other day. Sometimes I'll go to bed without a shower and then get up early and have one (but I also wash my bedding weekly). |

| I've seen a problem at Pilots because they are just too lazy to wash showers until a driver needs one . Then they'll wash one . I had a clerk at the Pilot at exit 36 on I-75 in OH tell me if I didn't like it go on down the road . The Pilot on I-64 at exit 92 in IN was the same deal . All the showers were dirty , not being used . They washed one for me then an hour later at shift change they still hadn't washed any others . The Pilots at exit 28 on I-71 in KY keep showers available . On the Pilot Driver Payback Card , Subway , Taco Bell , and Arbys at Pilots will accept them . McDonald's won't . |

All (chain) truck stops have card if you fill 50 gal you get a free shower that usually last between 5-7 days on that card |

| If your hubby pays for a shower and his company doesn't reimburse him for it, save all receipts. They are tax-deductible. Not sure on the details (my company reimburses, so it's not an issue for me) but a tax professional could tell you how to do it.
