| Let's give Red Fox a standing ovation! Yes, I do still believe that MJ should be legalized. But that does not mean that it should be used when on ANY job. I don't care what the job is, somebody who comes to work under the influence should be fired. Doesn't matter if it is alcohol or dope.

| Some of my best friends turned into major potheads out of highschool. The one floated to every restaurant in the city as a dishwasher, getting fired from every one of them. He recently got fired from his job at a hot dog place (seriously). Now he's a drywaller but he's finding that is too much work for him. (really?). He tried to go the apprentice electrician route too, but was fired over an argument he had with his boss (about world events and philosophy....because being a stoner makes your views superior to everyone and makes you very intelligent). He went from being an A student to being a freeloading bum. His wife works to support their two kids and he works to support his weed habit. Yes, his weed habit is bad enough that for a while he was spending roughly 50 dollars EVERY DAY on weed. We are talking dozens of joints smoked every day. He has never done anything other than weed in his life, and he's the most useless dude I know. My other pothead friend is number 2 in line for my vote. To want to allow potheads driving an 80,000 pound machine down the road amongst others.....are some of you crazy??? Should be zero tolerance, and same with alcohol. |

| No Way Sorry, just can't see it! Not even for medicinal purposes, too many excuses for people to be using it. One more legal drug for people to justify a "need" for.

| Without joking around... Red fox, is 100% right ! I was a major pot head, and ex-drunk guy.... But, driving a truck..Smoking weed is way over board...80K, and all those little four wheelers...That, takes alot of "balls" or alot of stupidity. I guess some people just don't care about others? Well, I gotta go water the plant's....lol... later |

| If it were legal, I still would not consider driving a truck under the influence. I think that is irresponsible. |

| Pot What are your views on legalizing ? I think it should be and for the same old reasons. Never gonna stop it, tax it, legal m/j would stop all the sub culture deales and crime associated with it and save us billions on prison sentences and trying to fight it. I smoked it as a kid all the time. Never wanted to fight or drive around causing accidents as with alcohol. It does not lead to hard drugs thats b/s propaganda. I have probally smoked several pounds myself and have never done anything else or wanted to either. It's not addictive either as is alcohol and tobacco. I stopped when I went into the Air Force in 1984 and haven't touched it since but if they would legalize it I would be high as a kite tonight. Just my opinion. |

| Heck... we already get tested for it on a reasonably regular basis. Legalize it. Tax the hell out of it. Prove you have perfect pee a little more frequently. Save the Republic by letting stoners pay a "privilege tax." Maybe the DOT guys will quit trying to finance the government on trumped-up HOS and safety citations! |

| Funny how so many people who use this "Nonaddictive" drug will often have bills unpaid, kids needing shoes, unmaintained vehicles, and other assorted shortcomings, but will always have a quarter in the lamp base or refrigerator (because the cops NEVER look in there). I saw it that way for years back in the day, still hear about it now.
