Before I used to smoke I thought it was just "drugies" that did it.

Then I realized that ppl of all walks smoke. And the ones that don't or never did will never realize just how many ppl around them everyday do smoke.

Legalize, yes, use it while driving, no. Treat just like driving under influence of alcohol if used when driving ANY type of vehicle, even a bicycle.

I haven't smoked in years and have nothing against those that do.
I've seen many times that hard drugs lead to pot. Serious.
Also, have you ever seen someone smoke too much and beat the #### out of their wife or kids?
Didn't think so.
Now how about Booze.
Mean drunks?
Mean potheads?
Don't get me wrong, I love my beer.
But driving while intoxicated by ANYTHING is just wrong.

Germany bans drug "Spice"

Do we have synthetic marijuana in the USA
I have never heard of this before

Quote:
Germany's health minister says the government has banned the production, sale or possession of a synthetic marijuana-like drug known as "Spice."
Health Minister Ulla Schmidt says Spice must "quickly be taken out of circulation." Wednesday's ban takes effect Thursday and comes weeks after German health officials found the drug contained a synthetic ingredient similar to marijuana.
Germany is the fourth nation to ban the substance, marketed as an herbal room-freshener, after Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Officials say Spice is typically rolled into cigarettes and smoked. It is usually sold in 3-gram packages for around euro30 ($39).

Yep, and it's pretty useless. Pharmacy stocks it, it expires, return and replace.

The eye drops are much more effective.

Just a thought: Wow! Pro's and Con's of Legalizing Marijuanna. If we were to legalize the comsumption of marijuanna; we would be able to tax it and solve todays econimic problem within 6 months. (This is what our government did after the last great deppression. They repealed prohibition, and formed the A.T.F.; and it worked!) People were happy and the unreal ammount of money collected in the tax on alcohol, tobbacco, and firearms bailed out this great nation) Doing the same thing today with marijuanna would be a solution. It would also save us in tax dollars wasted with all the law enforcement, (ie. Police, Coast Guard, Courts, Lawyers, and housing of all the people sitting in jail right now because they had a joint on them! etc.) At the same time I am quite sure you (and you know who you are) who smoke or have smoked marijuanna; also those of you with children or people you care about; we would all feel much better and safer knowing that you got your marijuanna from a reliable trustworthy source, as opposed to getting it from some guy; not knowing what the #### is in the marijuanna you are using or what chemicals it was treated with, etc. This would in turn also result in a DECREASE in our health care cost, and a reduction in the cancer rate's. It is a trickle down effect. It also has the effect of reducing the little gangsta's and wanna be's on the block that are selling marijuanna, and a reduction in crime. (if you could go around the corner and buy a pack of california sensi bud just like you do a pack of cigarettes, you wouldn't be dealing with some yahoo down the street.) You would also have less traffic to fight, because you would have a lot more people sitting at home on the couch eating potatoe chips. (So buy stock in Frito Lay!)
Cons: Their would still have to be some restrictions and drug testing for a wide variety of proffessions. (ie, driving big trucks, flying airplanes, being a doctor, nurse, politician, etc, etc.)
The people involed in the drug/marijuanna trade would be bumming because they would no longer be making the money, and kickbacks that they are gettin now. (like all you dea guys, and politicians that are making the big dollars for letting the majority of the cargo get into this country in the first place.

Another thought which you may consider a pro...it can reduce the price of Diesel Fuel since it has been proven that 1 acre of marijuanna produces more than twice the ammount as 1 acre of corn in bio-diesel. (you can also get clothes , rope, and many other fine products from the hemp plant...so it will help to save a lot of good ole American farmers and help the trucking industry by giving us all another product to haul.)

But what do I know, I am just a former pot smoker. I would feel much safer driving next to someone who was/is smoking a joint than I do driving next to someone who has a cell phone stuck to their head, or a drunk.
