Truckers getting skin cancer

Hello everyone I am writing to inform everyone of the possiblity of truckers getting skin cancer.....I come from a long line of truckers my grandpa and all his brothers my dad and uncles well my dad is a young 47 good health and he was recently dianosed with skin cancer it was on his left arm left ear and the side of his face well guess what thats where the most sun comes in when you spend so many hours a day driving you have sun shinning in on the left side....well my uncles and great uncles and grandpa had this same problem all of them have skin cancer on the left side so make sure you get checked having tinted windows lower the risk but remember you have not had tinted windows you whole life so if you see any weird spots be sure to have them checked if it goes too far you may be like my uncle and lose a ear and half your nose! And if you dont have tinted windows get them and put sun block on winter summer spring and all as long as your arm and left side is within sunlight you run a chance of getting skin cancer

No problem. I hope you find your dad. Double D is a popular handle. I have heard several drivers use it. I also pull flats. Your best bet would be to get back a hold of the company. Since he has qual-comm they can tell if the truck is moving and where it is located. Quite normal for drivers to get out of touch sometimes.

Yea the company hasn't been much help I know his dispatch would be able to help the problem is getting the number to them lol on their website they have a number but its to their office in indiana which will relay a message to his dispatch but wont give me the number so I don't even know if they are relaying the message or if its falling through the cracks needless to say its not normal for my dad I am a total daddys girl and I call him every day to make sure he is ok and normally give him wake up calls so I dunno keep your eyes and ears open for him please I figure my only hope now is getting someone to catch him on the CB typically he is home every 2 weeks so this is very odd but I am trying to think positve thanks for your help!

Surely you can google the info or find it in one of the net phone books.

Hi,
I would call his company again and be the squeeky wheel until you get a response from the dispatch acknowledging that they have at least heard from your dad.
I'm sorry. This must be a tough time for you.
