| My guy says, Oysters.... (I dunno) They are very high in Iron. Oyster Stew 6 Tbl. Roux Base 1/4 C. Butter or Olive Oil 4 Tbl. Trinity Mixture(approx) 1 qt. Half & Half 2 - 12oz cont. Fresh Shucked Oysters (Drain, reserve juice) Sea Salt, Ground Black Pepper (to taste) 1 pinch Cayenne Pepper Directions: Melt butter and heat olive oil, over medium heat. (If you have fresh made roux then skip) Add 6 Tbls of Trinity Mixture (minced onion, garlic, celery...) Gently sautee Slowly, combine half/half with mixture, plus reserved juice, in a large pot, stirring continuously. Gently bring to a slight boil, do not scorch. Stir continuously. Add oysters The stew is ready when the oyster lips curl slightly. Add cold roux to thicken. (Unless you started w/ a fresh roux) Enjoy Wishing the best to you and yours Rob.

I use to carry my foods fresh frozen. I would prepare different meals, freeze immediately. My mentor would use a portable truck oven or " sandwich smasher". Put meat of choice add trinity. Just depends on how much flavor you like. It is salt free What truck appliance is your weapon of choice?
