Madden 2011...Will it live up to the hype?

no, Madden is the ONLY football game made.
they sold their soul to the NFLPA for player rights, and no other company has any reason to make a game w/o player and team names. There is a new game out called BackBreaker that I'm interested in trying. It has an entirely new physics engine so every tackle and hit is realistic, not a pre-rendered animation.

But madden 11 will have 1 or 2 new features, and a little refinement.
Madden 10 is a HUGE step over Madden 09. 09 was a piece of crap. But that doesn't mean that 10 is the pinnacle of football videogames.

 

you honestly dont see a difference between 09 and 10?

Good lord, they're like night and day.

The game play is slowed down a LOT in 10. The running game is way more realistic.

10 is by far the best madden game released, not that it says much though.
With no competition, they only thing they need to do is make little updates year after year with new rosters, and the sheep just flock into stores every August...
