Not sure the brand, the one that the truck stops sell. I got it at Dysarts. Anyway something appears to be wrong with the connection that goes into the radio as I can't seem to get past the "acquiring signal" message. Anyone know where the heavy duty cable could be purchased separate for this unit?

Only two places I could think of would be Radio shack maybe. or the internet. Also replacing that connector is not somthing the average joe can accomplish.

I'm looking for the entire cable that goes from the unit to the mushroom top antenna.

I don't know that you can replace the cable per say. You'd have to tear it (the antenna head) apart to get inside to resolder the internal end back in place wouldn't you? Where is the antenna situated and on what truck? Chances are the cable is not the problem. First assumption would be you don't have a clear view (no trees, shed, other truck, etc) to roughly 45 degrees above the horizon, and to the southwest. And the further north and east you are the more pronounced this problem of unclear path to satellite is going to be. Secondly, I'd lay blame at a bad antenna or receiver unit before I'd lay blame at a bad cable. If you know someone who has the same receiver base as yours ask if you can plug yours in to verify your receiver is good, then if so, make note of where his antenna is sitting in relation to yours then ...

How old is your radio? Sirius radios have a tendency to not be made well. It may not be your cable at all, but the connection from the radio itself into the dock. Where the antenna plugs in from the dock to the radio may need a solder job. Quick and easy.
