well it does not show them but has directed me around them i have not been sent down one street i should not have been on yet with it. the truck setting is probably more like a rv/big vehicle rather than a semi setting

Did you buy on ebay? Because the ones i see are used i think but reconditioned. They cost from 150-200$, they say they have 1 yr warranty and are still in box. I see positive reviews for them but im willing to pay an extra 50 $ if its 100% new. If you did buy off ebay can you tell me who you bought it from. I really appreciate it.

Trust me i did alot of research on this gps situation and i found that the big price tags on the supposed truck gps was not worth it. I got mine for a little over 200 and it was brand new never opened....
Are you sure this isn't a refurbushed, restored to factory specification by Garmin? That is the going price for those. Brand new ones are still in the $300.00 plus to $400.00 price range.

There is a statement on Garmin's website that says if you buy it from an online discount auction, they will not honor the warranty. The trick is to find a seller that also has a storefront and will give you a receipt.

Funny as heck, but there is a street called Confederate Ave in Atlanta where I was rebuilding a burnout, that has a low bridge of about 12'6" - and almost DAILY a big truck pulls up to it and has to back out...two of 'em I noticed lit screens on the dash...
Hmmmmmm...

I have a NUVI 750. I have got notices about upgrading it via the computer. I have not done this yet. Does anyone know if one of us upgrades our units, can at that time truck routes be added?

I upgraded from a PC and it messed mine up. I took it back and got another one and the next year bought the updates from walmart and have had no problems with it.

I just started seeing tis unit in the Petro and Loves with a $300.00 price tag. Albeit, I seem to remember it being a 780? Am I remebering this wrong or have they done an upgrade? Loves had a sign in the display saying that they didn't have any in-stock due to limited manufactoring and high demand. Is this a smoke screen?

Talked to Garmin rep on fri (3-27)
Was told of a new model coming out in late May or early June
the 465T. Big truck setup as all the rest(i.e. Teletype), but
you will be able to set your trailer height to 14'......
