Lol. Mercer is good folks to us. Many use our cameras and our partner's Logbook program. Some also come in here when they come through on the I-5. We did a VuQube and 32" television in one just last week. I don't say anything pro or con online about any outfits as a rule. But since you mentioned it, I'll say this one time that we have had nothing but good experiences with the Mercer drivers. Good peeps in our book!

Back on topic, I too was surprised by the quality of the 2 screw axis mount and the way it was packaged. However, after 2 weeks of use, not only did the battery never fully charge, now the screen displays nothing but static and is frozen.

Be interesting to know just how many of these units have petered out within a short period time after purchase. If the company won't acknowledge their product has design and operational problems or offer a reasonable solution, maybe a class action law suit might get their attention.

 

I just got my cam today... I'll take some pics of it tomorrow then after I hook it up I'll post some video from it... I am amazed at how sturdy it is... great quality out of the box... sturdy... a bit on the heavy side... which is a good sign that it's not chintzy... I ordered it on monday and it showed up today from china... (I hate the word china) keep ya posted... it's the first link I posted previously... ...^V^...
