Tailgater satelite dish good? Or bad?

not sure about the tailgator but I have seen people use normal dishes, saw a truck recently who had a poll mounted on his mirror and he would just insert the dish when he wanted to use it, seen another who mounted a pole on his load lock rack and was able to extend it up over the truck and trailer which to me makes the best way then you dont get interference from other trucks.

 

I have one. Have mounted behind bunk. Top centered. About 2 inches over top of whale tail. Works well. Started with the window mount until bracket was shipped to me. It worked as long as no one parked to close and was facing South. But also had to put it up and down to move. Well worth mounting it on back.

Google "tailgater by dish" then click "shop for" on the results page. Looks like some RV company has refurb units for $269.

I thought about getting a dish before but heck I only turned my tv on maybe 2 times in the last 3 months. I shut down and get on the forum for a bit, get a shower and whatever then its time to sleep and start again.

 

Yep it's getting that way long hours too tired heck I fall asleep while watching the movie and wake up its e watching me.

 

I do watch movies or tv shows here and there but I download them and just watch them on my laptop.
