don't know about hime leaving xm. he was still broadcasting when he passed. he came on after lockridge.

 

I guess I just never heard he passed away, that would explain his absence on XM, thank you for the facts. He is missed.

 

He passed about 2 years ago now. I still have an email conversation we had for about a year before he died. Also have spoken to him privately. He wasn't as brash as he came off, most of what he said was because of the listeners. He was part of Road Dog's "Golden Years". Especially that block of time where it was Lockridge, Bozo and OOIDA.

 

I never thought he was brash, just my kind of guy. Told it like it was.

he was actually much more than xm, he was a voice in the night on am700 wlw out of Cincinnati years before xm was ever dreamed of

 

I remember listening to him with my dad and then on my own when I started driving. I used to hear him on 700 all the way down to Florida and up to Maine.
