Hey guys I'm picking up a Pete 387 tuesday and if its like most other trucks the sound system sucks. I'm sure that the stock speaker and radio will have to go so im trying to find out what size speakers it came with and how many are in the truck?
Thanks for your help in advance!!

2 Rockford Fosgate 12" in ported box, 2 Kenwood 6"x9", asst. mids and tweeters, all in a ported box, with Alpine 2000 watt amp pushing it all......
Sorry, couldn't resist. On topic, my 388 daycab has 2 6" above the doors, and a Kenwood Receiver....Good luck with the new ride!ShowTyme101 Thanks this. -

Freightrunner its a 09. I'm doing 1 kicker l7 in a 1cu. Ft box to save space and still deciding on head unit leaning towards kenwood

I did my friend's 09 last week. He had 6 inch speakers. They didn't look stock.

My experience with Pete speakers us that they're pretty good. But I've also had pretty high quality systems as well.

Thanks Battle Born. It would be hard for me to live with stock for long periods of time never had stock in a personal vehicle only in company trucks. Im going to see if or I mean how long I can live with the stock. Right now the family saying 2weeks to a month I'm thinking 1day to a week

I had a 387 and it literally sounded like there was a sub in the sleeper. Was a Delphi system. Sounded amazing.
