I just bought a pair and they are fantastic. Its a 90+ day in ok and every truck is idling. It just started pounding rain and i bairly hear the rain on my roof. The noise canceling is awesome. Plugged into my phone and i can hear the person im talking to great with no motor noise in the background. (cant use while driving though).

If your bothered by noise when your trying ot watch tv or listen to music at a truck stop, these headphones are great. Sound quality is great. There are parts of my music that i hadn't heard before that i hear with these. They cost 300 bucks, but are worth every penny.

I bought the over the ear noise canceling wired model. Unfortunately the bluetooth ones don't have noise canceling. No I don't work for bose or get any referral money...I just like to post about products im satisfied with so you guys can enjoy them to.

I may get a pair one of these days. I currently have a pair of cheap chinese noise canceling earbuds that work pretty well, but they do have faint (but constant) electrical noise that I doubt is present in Bose...

I just use my Turtle Beach EarForce X12's when I want to drown the world out.

I originally bought them for my Xbox 360, but they are awesome for laptop (streaming video/music) use.

I always wanted to do some modifying. Hook the head phone output to the trucks stereo. Then I wouldnt need the headphone aspect when I lay down to sleep.

That's not noise canceling...even if you did wire it up, you couldnt noise cancel an area that large since the sound near the sleeper speakers is going to be different then the front. You would need microphones and speakers all over the truck

I have a pair of the noise cancelling headphones by Bose. $300. The battery needs changed every couple of days. It is not a hard wire pair like the airplane has. What model are you referring to?

Yes. Mine has a plug in jack that goes to what I am listening to. The airplane one has a hard wired that pulls power so there are no batteries to change.
