truck gps. also known as apiona truck navigation.
make sure to set your parameters and have it set for ft/miles.
maps are state by state downloadable. 48states is 3gigs. canada, mexico, puerto rico, hawaii, alaska will make the file bigger. i have no need to download those states. so if you don't do 48 states. no sense in downloading all that you won't need.
i just discovered it on google. so i have no feedback yet. looks pretty basic. but hey, there are apps for all the other fancy features most people would prefer combined with their expensive portable hand units.
give it a whirl. and let's hear some feedback. i'm going to be strictly west coast for a short while so i won't have the chance for cross country testing for awhile.
another free truck navigation app

I kid, I kid... I'll be following this thread with interest. -
i have that $150 app. and it's been very good to me. for the past 3 years.
sometimes i just feel like a change. and now that other options are finally starting to roll out. i'm willing to test new waters.

Uses HERE (NavTeq) data... probably not a lot of info pulled from HERE since the cost of the maps is so low.
