Check your connections behind outlet.

Sometimes the outlet is fused in the outlet assembly itself. If you have a meter you can see if you are getting the 12vdc at the wire connections (unplug them from the outlet). If so, then the outlet is bad. If no 12vdc then the problem is elsewhere.

Some times the "Cigarette Lighter" outlet is not deep enough to give SOME devices (for me, GPS and XM Receiver) the proper positive and ground connections. Usually the ground on the side of what's being plugged in. Try a cell phone charger or something with a shallow shaft, and see if you got power to those.

Normally if you look you can get the splitters with the shorter connector for the DC, but the outlets on the splitter are deep. You have to look around though. If the plug keeps slipping out of the DC connector you can take a cable tie and slide a couple of pieces between the plug and connector. This will usually hold it in tighter.

No plug works...no power at all

Did you take the connectors off the back of the plug and see if you have 12vdc on the wire connectors?
