    my power drive inverter finely quit squealing and now its getting hot to the touch but still working. is it toasted? only 3 months old should i toss it out? anyone have the cobra does it squeal? not buying any thing at pilot 30 day refund only your one your own after that sir....

    Believe you can also connect it to a battery too, but yeah, sounds like it's drawing too much . It could be your cig lighter

    buy the cobra. it's 400 watts for the same price as the 300 watt power drive. i've had good luck with the cobra.

    It sounds like you have a bad fan, which is the only moving part in an inverter. Hope you have the receipt so you can get it fixed under warranty.

    id have to mail it to china ....it was only 39 bucks ill toss it out....or i can go to a pilot buy a new one and swap it out with the old one ...then ill take it back say it squeals and get very hot
