I have never had one, and didn't really understand how it worked but I want to know more as l I bought my wife a new car and it came with it. Found the Road Dog Channel and just listened to Kevin Rutherford and WOW, I really did like the show. Many Questions:

    1. Is this expensive and can you get it on a trial version for a couple of months?

    2. I have read where you can buy an adapter to hook into your regular Fm radio to work it through there, is this correct and how hard is this to do?

    3. Do you need a special receiver for this to work?

    4. As far as Trucking topics, is the Road Dog Channel the only one on the network?

    5. Is it 24 X 7 about Trucking or does it have a lot of different stuff on it, example: Education, talk show and music?

    6. I guess this is Tax deductible isn't it?

    7. Is there other shows on the Sirius Network that is educational other than Trucking?

    8. What type of equipment is good and do they have a deal for year end or how does this work?

    9. Can I listen to this on my home computer or only if I subscribe to it?

    10. Is there a place or website as far as trucking items on Sirius you can find out when what is coming on?

Any advice and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

To keep it short. It's less then 20/month. Easy set up. Recommend using an aux hook up instead of fm hook up. It comes in a dock so you can just undock it and take it home and put it in the house dock*sold separately* it is tax deductible. I believe it's 24/7 trucking....I'm never up for 24/7 to know...
I think it's the only trucking show.

When you say aux hook, that will be what is on the front of my radio correct? It has a port in the front for a plug in it that states "aux". I appreciate it very much!

Correct. One end goes to your player, the other goes to the port on your in dash radio.

And get a receiver with the replay, so you can pause your favorite talk show, or replay a good song.

Kevin Rutherford is a snake oil salesman, that's it. The rest of siriusxm is great though.

Xm radio is a must. There are numerous channels, music, cnn, Howard stern, sports, etc. it costs about 90 bucks for a unit. I put the antennae on top of my cb and reception is good. It plugs into the aux of your radio. I pay about 20 a month.
