Thats not fair....I had to pick other.

I listen to XM after midnight..til 4am or 8am if I missed part of Coast To Coast. From 5pm-7pm it's XM again.

Then it's my CB and I-pod for the rest of the day.

Many times, I listen to nothing but the wheels turning.

This is one of my biggest fears. Getting stuck with someone that wants to listen to the same 15 Top Country songs for a month. Personally, I have no problem listening to vehicle sounds in the left seat and reading when in the right seat.

I need to work where they do so I can afford sattlelite

I love twisting the dial on AM and tuning in those faint stations are after midnight.

Beyond that I listen to a lot of talk radio.

I listen to my police/fire scanner alot, or will talk on my ham radio to others (I dont use the CB at all unless Im at a customer (to much profanity and nonsense)). If I bored I listen to a lot of satellite radio. I big into Sirius Patriot and the Big 80s, Sirius Chill and Area 38. I also love listening to the Mizzou Football game when its on on Saturdays. If not not them, then usually my girlfriend talking about a variation of one of these ... "Your, going the wrong way", "your in the wrong lane", "when are we getting married" " do you think she's prettier then me", "I'm hungry", "now, I'm thirsty", "How many kids are we going to have", "your mom hates me", " I think the neighbor is watching me" " why don't you ever want to go to my parents house", "what are you thinking", "babe, why are you turning the radio up" "Um, babe why are heading right for that wall", " Now, I have to use the restroom"... AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kidding, She hardly ever asks what I am thinking...LOL

I listened to the Diane Rehm Show on FM. The first hour was usually political show and the second hour was usually a book review. On Fridays, she had the Friday News Round-up that discussed the headlines of the week. All of these shows took call-ins.

On Saturday evenings, I listened to A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor.

AM radio had call-in shows: Sally Jesse Raphael, Bruce Williams, and Dr. Laura Schlessinger.

These radio shows were like a fringe benefit. Now that I am retired, I seldom listen to radio. Instead, I am reading classic novels. I just finished Of Human Bondage by Maugham. There was never time for recreational reading, even when I was a student. Now, I am checking out Hemingway, Steinbeck, Cather, etc. I also have seen movies recently: The Changeling, Appaloosa. There is no more time for radio.
