RM has been seening a issue of units slow in calculating and routing badly..like taking you off exits a lot in your route.

check to see if you have in main screen/preferences/route settings - Tolls- Avoid.

if you do, then please set to allow.

RM is working on this and we hope to have a fix for it shortly.

main menu/preferences/route settings..

please allow all, then reboot unit. some issues that were found with setting to avoid. I tested today and do see them. RM has given this high priority.

Great.
Mine is on Avoid 90% of the time lol.
Guess I have to wing it.
I always know where I am going anyway. I just like to have the milage and time counters. Funny reason to have a GPS I guess, but works for me.

RM is sorry we did not catch this ealier. But, the way the errors were shown lead down a different path.

This seems to be only when you are in the shortest setting.. but, have to do more testing tomorrow on longest...

corrects some of the way E-mails were handled. Such as . in an E-mail and some other ways it handles "tell Rand" messages.

Called Rand McNally yesterday and tried to order the TND 500. Lady told me they were hoping to ship late this week. She said they were waiting on a shipment of new units to come in that are improved and have more memory.

Mark, have the 1392 version and i've been updating, except for the new .54 version, but i cant seem to get truck stops, rest areas etc... on the poi's anymore??? please advise and thank you..
