I drive a Pete 387 condo. It was the full size cabinets on each side (both have the big doors).
Well i just bought a Coleman plug in cooler (40qt) and i really want to get it out of the way. I know these things need ventalation, so is putting it in one of the cabinets with a good 6in-12in of space above it sufficient or should i keep it out on the floor?
Where to put my coleman cooler...

Depends on where the vents are on it. It should work fine as long as those have space to breathe. Might leave the cabinet door open though.

Those things need lots of airflow. If you put it in the cabinet you'll be lucky to get 3-6 months use out of it before it burns the motor up. I keep mine on the floor or in the passenger seat. It's a PIA and it gets old moving it but no other choice really.

I guess it depends on how much the replacement motors are then.

You can pick those fans up at a computer shop for about $3-$15 a piece

Well didn't know you could get them at a computer shop or that cheap. They are like $25 at the store or T/S. I guess you answered your question then.
-
You can find bags of them free if you're a half decent scavenger.
-
You can order them online for $15 directly from Coleman.

I'm actually very impressed with my coleman. It keeps everything very cold, close to freezing. I couldn't be happier with it.
