Another GPS thought

Okay, we all have read all these posts regarding GPS and how much we should rely on these things. A lot of opinions have been expressed but we all seem to agree that relying on a PND 100% is probably a bad thing. And there are many reasons for this. My personal favorite being that these map data-bases are always lagging behind-some as much as a year or more. One should always use more then one source to verify a routing. Unless you are completely and 100% familiar with any given route, use your map, call for directions whatever. Make absolutely sure you know what you are getting into before you get into it. This will save you a lot of trouble later.
Unless.......
The PND is correct and you have managed to somehow foul things up yourself.
For instance, if you find yourself doing circles to the exact same point as your PND indicates is your destination, might it be that YOU are missing the building or dock because it might be behind or hidden by some other building?
Hmm
