I had a Freight liner with a Mercedes Benz's engine with a Eaton Fuller 10 speed.
I seem to be having a lot of trouble double clutching. I had one instructor showed me shifting by speed and when he quite the new instructor showed me how to shift by RPM's. I got all mixed up and now all I can do is grind gears but I think its because the RPM's are falling too far (I should shift at 15-17 RPM and then be in gear by 10-12) The RPM should not fall more then 500, is that right?
