That choice is always up to the driver. Opinions are good and all, but you're going to have to call the actual company for decent facts. What would you like to do?

Roehl has dry-van, flatbed, and curtain-side trailers. I'm not sure if there is an intermodal fleet though. Many good things are said about Roehl with minimal complaints from drivers.

Schneider has dry-vans, containers (intermodal), and tankers. They are known to have a good safety reputation. Again, minimal complaints with this company from drivers.

Each companies have their flaws, but you have to start somewhere. What motivates you? Good training? Benefits? Etc.? Call a recruiter from from each company, and visit their web pages.

Now for my opinion: there are worse companies out there that new drivers should stay away from. Schneider and Roehl are fantastic companies to start with in my opinion.

Whatever choice you make, I would like to wish you well in your future endeavors.
