Sabbath trucker

I need advice on what are the best trucking companies that respect religious convictions. I am what is called a Sabbath keeper. I can work 6 days a week, but from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday I cannot work. Are there any other Sabbath keeping truck drivers out there.Should I maybe try Dedicated, or Regional. I'd like to go OTR as long as I can keep the Sabbath day.Can anyone help??

So many people think its Sunday LOL

Finding a company may be harder than you think
When the loads need to run they run

There are plenty of "Christian" owned companies
But being its not a Christian requirement via the new testament, it probably wont be recognized as a priority
Or are you Jewish????

Did you find any companies? My husband just started at truck driving school and we keep the Sabbath. Thanks for your help!

I sure would like to hear more feedback on this issue. I have been a local driver for years but now find my self facing having to go OTR, but not sure if I will be able to find a company that will accommodate me not working on the true Sabbath

GNH Trucking in PA has been working with me... They are regional and and want the trucks back on Saturdays for maintanance. There are times where i get in later than I want to on Fridays but that has mainly been due to shippers dragging there feet or a bad traffic problem. I have been here for a year next month and I really can't complain. When I need time off it's never been an issue and he boss is always asking if everything is ok. If you flat bed I'm sure he would be intested to talk to you.
