In case anybody actually takes the time to follow me or wonders,

YES, I did get home this weekend, as promised. Had a very confusing work assignment, but I made it. (dang this is nice to do on PC rather than Evo.)

I actually was able to get HOME for my 10 hr break between 3:30-4 this morning. The delay was because of repairs needed that I reported on earlier.
Then I finished up and came back to the house.

Nonetheless, I was NOT on a hard deadline, so all was well. I did not sleep good. Even my wife woke me to question me about my restlessness.

Once I finally got moving about, we went and picked up my eldest boy from school before I left.

I did have a pre-assignment that I was anticipating. But I paid little/no attnetion to it until I was ready to give it some focus. Once I got ready to, it made very little sense. It seemed to have been put together by someone with dyslexia.

It showed me picking up a loaded by appointment between 8-9 Monday morning in Lewisville and delivering to Grand Prairie by 2300 before going home for the weekend. Hard dates, 2/27, ETA, 2/24.

I called support to clarify and even they were like "WTF?"
I verified with them what MT trailer I had hooked and they said they would be in touch. After getting my paperwork caught up I decided to get off site and head to Love's. As I hit the gate a note came in: ditch the trailer and bob home. So.... I did. Ohhhhh yeah!

Tomorrow? Monster Jam at the Jerry-Dome in Arlington, TX!

    I'm a newbie 45 years old. How do you like working for sni? compared to transam or usxpress do you have any thoughts? Just south of atlanta and my wife is coming with me after training, no she does not drive. wondering if sni would be a good company?

    Lol...glad y'all had fun! Keep up the antics. We went through a border patrol yesterday and were trying to cover our faces for the cameras. We even went so far as to ALMOST tell them we were hauling illegals and Mary Janes! (They asked what we were hauling and there were haz mat stickers all over the truck! DUH!)

    We've been waiting to pass a sleeping passenger so we can Toot at them! So much fun out here to be had!

    When they ask me if I'm an American citizen I tell them "No, I'm a Texan."
    They ask if I'm alone; "No, God is with me."
    Or, "I think I'm alone. But I swear I keep hearing Spanish." Ok, I wouldn't actually say THAT. Last thing I need is an hour delay with BP over a cute comment.

    But I can't help but laugh at the mental image of you hanging your butt out the window to "toot" at someone.

    I don't think the border patrol agents have much in the sense of humor department. No reason to delay your trip so you can have a laugh.
    Blank, are you still with Schneider? Did you just neglect changing your picture?

    I'm still with Schneider for now. Things have chilled out somewhat for now
