Hello my dear Monday. I've eagerly awaited your arrival. All thruout the awesome weekend I was forced to endure, I knew in the back of my mind you, dear Monday, held you're arms wide open waiting for me to draw near enough for you to fling dung at me.
I hop in my precious Schneider provided ride in the wee hours ready to rock and roll. Let's make some money! Oh, wait, Qualcomm says, "wait a moment..... Ok, screw you."
I was never able to "complete" my drop Friday because they couldn't seem to get it through Qualcomm that no empties were available. I figured, the way my DBL talked, it would be removed. No, it was still there in all it's annoying glory.... Plus the assignment to drop said empty at a different location.
After three different calls they finally advised me on what to do, "On our end we don't show that task. Fake the system, tell it you picked it up."
Ok, mission accomplished.
Until later.
At my next drop, I have the exact same problem err one difference, I picked up an empty. Almost didn't because it had a kingpin lock. Turned out to be the stores.
Here I sit now, having already made another P/U, but I can't show it on the computer because the "P/U empty" list seems non responsive. After multiple inputs and phone calls, no change. I dunno if the keyboard jockeys just ain't understanding me or if there's a glitch in the matrix.
After my last phone call nearly an hour ago I was told they will "complete" my assignment and make my preassignment active. Still I wait. I write in and asked if there was a problem with my system. A moment ago I got notice my preassignment had changed, but it never tells us what was changed. It's still no help.
At my last drop-P/U, the get in-get out was easy enough, walk in, sign papers, (preloaded) so drop my empty grab my loaded and have a nice day. My drop; however, was not so simple. Tight spot. But I managed and got on my way.
I headed to the nearest Pilot and parked with four minutes on my clock. I got right into a spot, but this little place is busy and filled up right after I got here. A truck broke down on the CAT, so that added to peoples misery. But all's ok I guess. Now to stay on top of them to fix my Work Flow so in the morning I can just go and hope to stay ahead of the storms.
Roll well.
