Well Drove down to muncie tonight 4/29 to try and get some rest before school in the morning. Don't really know what to expect tomorrow for the first day of class. I assume we start with learning log books and stuff but I don't know. I am kinda of nervous and excited bout getting started. Just hope at the end of the 3 weeks I am not to nervous and fail my cdl test. I don't if anyone will read these but i will keep them updating them as much as possible. God bless and keep the shining side up. Until next time.

Just take your time listen. Slow and safe will always win. Even when you get on the road just do you. Do what you can handle. If 60 Mph is the speed limit keep it right there. That means not moving tickets.

Thanks Lesure4. I think sometime my worst enemy is myself. I tend to psych myself out lol.

I just finished a Sage school this past Friday. The first thing is to get your CDL permit. In my class by the fourth day we were on the driving range. Going over shifting and backing. Just listen and take one day at a time. You'll do all right. Sage is a good school. I'm glad that I went with them.

Become familiar with FMCSR. When I went to school, it was 9 weeks. 3 in classroom, 3 backing, and 3 on the road. It is not difficult. The hardest part is getting familiar. Think of it as a large Pick up (LOL). Use your mirrors, see the big picture (ALWAYS). Monitor your gages. Know your clearances. Understand the (Truckers) Atlas...what roads are not permitted, low clearances, etc... There is so much that you will learn. Starting at the right time because it is summer, and this will give you experience before the winter months...Any questions you may have please feel free...

Here it was a little different you had to have your permit before starting. I guess some many were coming to class with them so they decide to make you get before starting. I have range tomorrow after class.

Hey JesusFreak, how was Muncie? I am looking in to that school and am curious as to when you first applied and how long did it take before you started there? I am going to call them tomorrow, I think, and set up the informational seminar. Thanks, good luck, and God bless!
