So I take my Test for school on 5/23/12 I miss 5 total on pre-trip and pass the 4 point brake check. Pass skills test with 0 points and pass road test with 18 points. Now I feel really comfortable to take my state test on Friday 5/25/12. So its Friday 5/25/12 I get to the testing site I am telling my self you can do this. So pre-tirp in cab 4 point brake check is first. start with outside go inside do 4 point twice failed. Dang it. So I am asked what step 4 is on the 4 point so i tell him Fan the brakes down to approx 20-45 in at that time the protection valves should pop out. He looks at me and goes why didn't you say 45 during the test. I was so mad at myself. I said 40 for some unknown reason. So now i have to pay 175 bucks to retest. So i schedule a retest for Thursday 5/31/12. The night before I toss and turn all night I am so worried and nervous. I get down there to the testing site still nervous. I go thru the pre-trip and 4 point over and over in my head. I am also praying for help in remembering everything and that i pass. So we start pre-trip, in cab 4 point baaaaam Passed with 0 points!!!!!!! So happy now so i start my straight back no problem there. Right side offset dang it messed up somewhere pull to set it up like a straight back dang it over to the right a little to close pull up back straight up perfect. Now my biggest fear since i don't even parallel park my jeep so i pull up stop he make sure cones are in correct spots OK i start hard left hard right till straight with trailer bamm i am in perfect position back up another hard right back up to put trailer in hard left stop turn it to the right pull up get out check make sure i am in bam passed skills test 0 points. Now i am really excited but still nervous on to the road test. Had some problems with down shifting got back to the testing site passed with 20 points. Now i am really excited i am not officially a CDL class A holder. Drive home go straight to bmv. My long time dream is coming true. Now what do i do.
Well i choose roehl to be my starting company the recruiter wasn't pushy didn't call constantly and just answer question and didn't have a sales pitch like werner and a few others. I am just waiting on them to receive the dot physical i took Friday and hopefully they have everything and I will be on my way to Appleton soon.
