WOO-HOO! Gonna git down to 77 degrees tonight! I feel a party in the making! BRing on the LOT Lizzz..... ehhh n/m.... too hot and tired for all that crap... Meh.

I've been goin in and out of the Pilot to cool off. Last time I went in I attempted to get a Mt. Dew Icee. But all the machines had been so used that they were freezing up. What lil bit I did score the manager just let me have. I got what I paid for; it kinda tasted like Nyquil.

Now check this out.... One day last week I pick up an MT trailer. I have to use it to swap for loaded at my main gig. It needs a new tire and all three marker lights do not work. I'm parking at the house for the day. Since the trailer is OOS for the day I figure it's a perfect time to get it fixed. Especially since when I drive it next will be at night and ID lights not working is hard to hide from cops at night. So I call SEM.

They tell me no tire gets repaired outside a tire bank unless it's a blowout. As for the lights, well, there's a Wingfoot 45 minutes away from me; they can repair the tire and the lights.
"Yeah, but it will be dark when I start driving again.... and they'll be closed."

So what's the verdict? Well, they aint sending a service call to my home location. But they will send one to my drop location. So just take it to my drop and they'll send someone there to fix it. Well that makes a lot of sense. You don't mind risking ME getting pulled over because .... I don't get it. Either way they are paying a service call. They just won't order it where it keeps me legal? WTF? I'm gonna break out a Ouija Board and have a heart-to-heart with Don Schneider.

A couple days ago I was cooling off in a movie theater. While waiting for the movie to start a waiter asks if I'd like anything. "Just ice water." (I still aint used to theaters with waiters and plate dinners... and beer..mmmm)
"We have a special today: 3 cookies for $3."
"What? Those better be big cookies. I can get a whole pack of Chips Ahoy for that price."
"They're about this big," he says while holding his fingers in a circle.
"That aint a very big cookie."
"But they are oven baked, sir."
"So are Chips Ahoy... in a bigger oven."

My head is throbbing. Gonna go back inside for a bit. Maybe find a nice quiet corner and doze off.

P.S. - Ha... I found this link on Google. This guy starts ranting about what a scam TTR is.... then suddenly it becomes a Ted Nugent love fest! heheh... What can ya expect from Topix, right?
