Schneider - Still Got Nuthin

It's been a while since I posted because I really didn't have anything new to say. Plus I have been preoccupied with something else I have gotten involved in. But my wife tells me to shut up about it; so I won't talk about the Texas Nationalist Movement here.
So cool stuff. Well, by my last post you know I had a lil bit of a layover in Round Rock and got to see the new Spiderman movie. Recently I saw a car fire; so that was cool. For me anyway. I bet it sucked for the car owner.... unless they needed the insurance money.
I almost had the dishonor of wiping out a flagman. Two-lane state highway, small construction zone narrowed to one lane, no warning signs of an upcoming construction zone. I just barrel upon a black guy frantically waving a stop sign above his head. As I began breaking his eyes got wider and he backed up off the shoulder. I was heavy-loaded. Not stopping quick & easy. Luckily I was going up a small hill, so that helped some.
I managed to come to a stop with my nose just past where his "standing zone" is. Apparently he wears a shock collar that restricts him to a very small area. Because rather than move to where I could see him when he was ready to let me go, I had to crane my neck to see him over the QualComm.
Maybe he was embarrassed by the pee in his pants? I was.
I passed by a couple bus loads of high school kids. Naturally they were wanting me to honk.... I began making faces at them. It was funny. They fell over laughing. How often have you ever seen another driver, much less trucker, start making dumb faces?
At the Flying J in Baytown I came upon something unusual. I was heading in for a shower and at the nearest to the store fuel pump was a truck pulling away. Oddly, the door was open. I figure teams: one guy's pulling up another is airing up tires. I look around, no one behind the trailer. I walk to the front, no one in the truck. Weird. I run up and mash the break and kill the rig. The brake buttons where in a different place than mine, so on the fly I dunno where they are or how to reach em, so I just yank it into gear.
Behind me I hear a Hispanic guy ask if it was rolling. "Naw man... I just have a thing for jumping into other people's rigs. The risk is such a rush."
I turn around and it's a guy I saw wondering around the other end of the fuel aisle. He hops in and pulls the break then, without a word, follows me up to the store. Another Hispanic guy comes out and they go to jabbering at each other.
Right hand? Meet left hand. Now lets work on our communication skills, eh.
No "thank you." No "stay the eff out of my truck." Nothing.
Another driver following me in said he was at a TA once that left the fuel aisle and went downhill to the service shop. A US Xpress truck decided on it's own to go to the shop while it's driver was inside. He said that was the kid's first and LAST day on the job.
And now I'm back at the house with a slew of kids making all kindsa racket and mess reminding me of how good life is. I sat down at my PC this morn to find my niece had been on it; all kindsa crap installed. I finally gave up and just did a system restore. Got rid of everything but a "mysearchresults" search bar. I can NOT find a way to get rid of this. Everyone has standard answers that don't work for me.
And I just noticed that this month is my one year anniversary to Trucker's Report. **party whistle**
