Man dies after accident at work in Aberdeen

A 65-year-old man has died after being crushed by a vehicle at his work.
The accident happened on the Altens industrial estate in Aberdeen at around 8am on Wednesday morning.

The man is understood to have been working at a truck firm, Nortruck, in Minto Drive. He was operating but not driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Grampian Police and fire and ambulance crews were called to the incident but the worker is thought to have died at the scene.

A Grampian Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 65-year-old male was fatally injured in an industrial accident in Minto Drive, Altens, shortly before 8am today.
