But many hotshotters will disagree with this statement
RV haulers are not hotshotters .

you guys are missing something..."expedite" only refers to the service performed. Notice Panther Expedited class 8 tractor trailers.....

Expedited freight has to be there RIGHT NOW RIGHT NOW, often coast to coast team freight to be delivered in 48 hours....truck stops to fuel and grab mcdonalds at the same time... ;)

We refer to an expedite as something that needs to deliver in loading + transit time. No unneccesary stops, no breaks, deliver direct. So for example, if I have a 300 mile move for a straight truck, I need it to deliver in 7 hrs.

I see a lot of people use the term "Hotshot" and "Expedite" interchangebly, and really, if you are talking about freight, I feel it is the same thing. You have freight at Point A, that needs to be taken to point B ASAP.

It must have proportionally the same restrictive regulations, insurance, taxes, etc. as big trucking or every unemployed guy with a 1-ton pickup would be trying to get a pallet in the bed.
