I started hauling with an F-350 dually about March of this year after driving a big truck for 16+ years. I have a question about chain up states. I don't know if I am required to chain up like big trucks or not. This truck is four wheel drive if that makes a difference. I would appreciate any help with this.
Are chains required for Hotshots?

for passenger vehicles the signs usually say something like chains or 4 wheel drive, but since you are technically a commercial vehicle they might insist you have chains, but that classification also has a weight limit. If you are under 26,001 lbs total in Colorado you don't have to go by the commercial truck rules.
okiedokie Thanks this. -

There are times some places here in WA when all vehicles are chains requires 4X4 or not.
