If you have a CDL-A why do you want to drive a van?

Anyhow to answer your question, try going on expeditersonline.com you can post a free ad and find job openings in expedited.Only expedited company I know of who hire non experience van drivers is Panther but you can call other companies to find out.

Don't expect to make much money driving a cargo van and expect to sit a lot . Go to the site recommended by Bigarmin88 and get advice from other cargo van drivers.

To add on another answer to the OP question,if you get into a van don't think your going make any big money either, most cargo folks I have meant told me they only take home around $400-$475 a week, sometimes more if freight is moving but no more than that. Also like RickG said you will sit a lot, sometimes for 3-4 days what I heard.Hey even in straight trucks we sit a lot, sometimes 3 days or more but I always moved to an better area so far most I stat was 4 days but that was due to a mechanical issue with the truck and had to wait for it to get repair.

Yeah tell me about it,that's why I always tell people to stay away from cargo vans.Go to the expediters web site and you'll find tons of used cargo vans for sale, even sprinters. Now some people clam they can make $500 + a week or more but I have yet meant someone who did.Best way if you want to get into the expedited field, get into a straight truck tractor would be better but straight truck makes good money as well.

THanks for your responses . This post is posted for a friend of mine. we wanted to eventually team together, but he has decided to try out vans or straight trucks. I dont know why he would want this either.

@bigarmin::::what company is good for straight trucks?

Panther and I think Fedex Custom Critical will take non experience drivers for straight trucks,Panther-yes Fedex- I think.Express-1 and Tri-State required 6 months exp OR I think Express-1 will take a non exp person as long your teammate has at lease 6 months exp,i'm 99% sure about that.
