Also, they pay 50% of the load up front !!
And they will pay for your passport after 2 hauled loads !!

Spent 5 years there when it was Quality. Very few backhauls.
Once you start running Canada, you will not see any.
Left them and went to another company for .23 more per mile.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 19, 2012

He'll learn the ends and outs as he goes along. I would like to know why they changed their name from Quality to Foremost?
-
They could not change to a new business name for the entire operation, so they took the motorized section out and put the pickups in the new one.
It was planning for the CSA. I watch their stats, and they are steadily climbing back to the way it was. -
I figured that to be the was it would be, and the truth be know most of the RV companys don't have very good ratings. I've been with the same company for seven years.
-
Ratings are bad. -
Check out Big Boys Toys in MI. Had a nice talk with a contractor yesterday said they were good people with plenty of work. He said the Michigan companies had less run ins with the DOT, as Indiana was hasseling the RV companies more. Might be listed as Big Boyz Toyz, I thought it was from Chesapeak MI.

What type of trucks do you all recomend for this type of work? 2wd 4wd? duramax or cummins? I am looking into this a little more due to a soon to be job loss. What is the busy times and slow times of the year? If somebody wants to throw me a pm I can do that to. Be safe

With very few backhauls you'll be lucky to net $15,000 a year while putting over 2,000 miles a week on your truck .
But 2 answer your questions 4wd is unnecessary and consumes more fuel . Cummins is the better engine but you'll have more downtime with the Dodge truck .
I bought a Dodge 3500 in '04 but by the time I had 70,000 miles on it I wished I had bought a Chevy due to excessive time needed for repairs and waiting for parts .
