    I also have a 3 car wedge behind a 6 speed 05 Dodge Dually.
Does the trick need to be newer to qualify even though it only has 112k miles on it?

I am a career truck driver with the same company 30 years and want to transition to Hot Shot Trucking. From the drivers I meet on the road, cars seems the best way to go. Looking to pull a 40ft trailer and and stay under 26k--You seem to have the best advise on here. Where can I go for start up advise and who do I start to contact--direct to dealerships? Any help greatly appreciated. Mike from NC

Mike there is a guy on here, based out of NC goes by Ryan. He operates under 26 and pulls cars. I am sure would be happy to give you direction. You can search this area of the forum for his post.

I was banned as well after he dispatched me on a load for .67 pm. I turned it down and he went on that cheap ### board talking about people that are always on here looking for free info but they would rather sit with no freight than move with frieght. I posted right under his smart ### the entire conversation and 2 people reply ed wanting to know if that was true and instead of stating his side of the story he deleted the thread which he started and banned me. I contacted both of the guys that was wanting to know if it was true or not and told them it was very true

I can tell you i pull autos and unlike many other guys here I am only pulling a 2 car hauler. True I don't pull in the large revenue guys with 4 or 5 car trailers, but my situation financially is a bit different. The key to me surviving the first full year in business and starting out with a 1 car hauler is getting some solid direct clients and going with certain broker/carriers. Last year 75% of my loads were with UR doing CarMax transfers. Rates may be on the low side but there are tons and tons of cars in need of daily moving. Winter has been tough and I am holding onto hope the spring and summer pick up like it did last year. Wish you the best of luck with starting up. There are a ton of good guys on here that got good advice and some that don't you gotta take it with a grain of salt.
