looking to get back driving
My husband & I wanna start driving a straight truck otr. I have my CDL A but he just got his Tip for CDL B. We wanna drive for a company for now til we can afford to get our own truck. But that won't be for at least a year or so. Any suggestions on who might let us team up even though he has no experience & I haven't driven in 3 1/2 yrs. Thanks

There is a classifieds section at expediter online that has a section with people looking for h/w teams.

Contact any of the major carriers and they can put you in touch with fleet owners that haul for them and are looking for drivers.
You should consider attending the Expedite EXPO in Wilmington, Ohio on July 27 & 28. All the major companies will have booths and recruiters there. All there in one place at the same time all there where you can look them in the eye while talking to them. And it's just 15 days away.

I'm planning on attending. Hope this helps you out.

Hello everyone. Question: if I run expedited Class B OTR straight out of school (I will get a Class A) if I did that for a year or two would that hurt my chances of switching to Class A OTR?

It won't hurt your chances. But it won't help either. The experience that companies OTR companies look for is combination vehicles experience with a trailer over 40 feet.
