I use the CLC and have just realized over the weekend that for what ever reason they dont list all of the motels that accept the CLC online. Now I am starting to call motels on the phone and ask if they take the CLC.

I currently run the woodhouse sleeper which I primarily bought for team driving the F-450.
-
i have a woodhouse for my f350, and Im looking to part with it since i no longer drive, will be reasonable

I know know that I can call my dispatch service to handle finding me a hotel. I for $50 a week they will find you a hotel with parking for the night. They will even book it for you. It works out being about $7 per night for a 7 day week. You dont even have to do their service, you can just have them find hotels for you. I can give you the number if you need it.

I have CLC as well. But I always ask the inn keeper if he will give me the rate without using them. Some will or add a couple bucks and it works out cheaper then charge with their fees. Lots of these Indians and Pakis are wheeler dealers.
-
I think usually, you can get a "trucker rate". I have never had any problems getting a good rate on a room. I average about $30- $50 per night.
-
I have also found that asking for a "Trucker" rate gets me a good price.

I got a call from a CLC rep today. It sounds interesting. He says, 20% to 40% discounts. I wonder....
Also said that there is a $4.95 fee for CLC for each night you stay in the hotel.
Anyone have experiences they would like to share?
