Be careful with the CLC card . Google reviews of a hotel before staying there . Many lie about having truck parking .

I stopped using my CLC. Unless you go to their website and run an invoice for that hotel, you will not get the "true" rate that you will get charged. A simple phone call to the hotel gets you the "best" rate and that is for large companies that have lots of employees using the card.
Their phone app tells you to call for the rate. I've been burnt so I don't use it. Was quoted $68 and was charged a total of $99 in Baton Rouge LA.
Until they get their phone app up-to-speed to allow viewing the actual price I will pay, I am not using mine.
Much Success!
BillTAK12LLC Thanks this. -
Agree CLC card is awesome and will save you a lot of money on hotels. I stayed at Holiday Inn in Billings their regular rate was 139.00 with my CLC I paid about $65. Well worth it.

I'm old so I use my AARP card and get a really good rate. lol

How did you build your own sleeper? I need one in my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Crew Cab.

This post has been dead a long time. There are many other threads with pictures that are from last month showing how guys are converting their back seats. Basically remove the back seat, Bottom and back. Then gte plywood and cut it so it fits on the floor and bolt it down using existing bolt holes if you can. Then get some sort of pad to sleep on, or sleep on the plywood if you want. That would be a "Place to Sleep" NOT a Sleeper. If you want a sleeper then you have to send your truck off to be converted. You do not NEED a sleeper. You can log Off Duty instead of Sleeper and sleep in your truck. But if you do Not have a Real Sleeper you can not log Sleeper time. Off Duty is just as good.

I used that CLC and its a great value

I may have to wait until a crew cab sleeper system comes out that doesn't require me to cut up my doors. Hotshot outfitters has the right idea for a crew cab sleeper. They don't make one for my truck yet. I don't think that I am going to try to build my own. It wouldn't be long enough for me to sleep on.

I've only slept in my backseat once and it wasn't fun. I've slept sitting up in the front seat twice, by pulling over for a "cat nap" and waking up hours later. I think I'd just purchase a bigger truck for that or alter my business model. I've had better luck opting not to haul nation wide, stick closer to home and developing exclusively local/state connections.
