    Onlythefacts, that's the most advantageous stay with local connections, build relationships, use the load board to get back if you are far away. It is hard to build connections clear across the country.

    I used to use CLC and it has been a while so not sure if they still do but they used to charge $10 for using the card. Sometimes I could get the hotel people tp give me the CLC price and just paid with another card but that seemed too confusing for mots of them. I have AAA and Mil Discount, couple that with your CDL and you should always be 15-20% less than rack rate. Join the frequent user clubs for free, I get free rooms from Wyndham and Best Western on a regular basis.
    I have slept in my back seat once and it sucked real bad. Unless I am broken down on the side of the road I won't do it again.
