Can anyone tell me of a Hot Shot company based in Texas to lease onto? I have a 2007 Dodge 2500 and would like to see about getting into the Hot Shot business. Thanks!

I don't know of any companies that don't require at least a 1 ton

Acme or Ace. They deal mostly with oil field related stuff. I know Acme is acme.com. You can find their locations there. Their home office is in Shreveport, La.

I am curious as to why the company needs to be based in Texas? Jones has a hotshot division and they have freight all over the country. Bennett is another one that has a hotshot division. Jones is based out of Pennsylvania and Bennett is in McDonough, GA.

Better chance of staying regional as in NM, TX, LA, KS, OK won't be able to run Colorado DOT there don't like loud trucks in the mountains. Appreciate it.

I live in Texas is the main reason. Intrastate would be nice but wouldn't mind interstate as long as its regional and not coast to coast.
