No, I don't have my own authority. I've heard it's a lot of hassle being a carrier, but I'm no expert. Not sure I want the hassle.

In any event, since I haven't come across the answer elsewhere on the Forum, let me ask here: Are there any recommendations on companies that I might talk to about leasing on to for LTL trucking or Hotshotting from my area of the country (mid-Atlantic in general or southeast Virginia in particular)? Or other suggestions on ways to enter the industry such as becoming an owner/operator and use a dispatch service; and if so who?
I'm ready to purchase whatever equipment will work best. -
The rest of your question is best from some other poster.Nottoway Thanks this. -

I certainly hope to never see one. -

Can you offer any contacts or websites in Florida for RV hauling?
-
Has anyone heard that progressive is dropping Hotshot and expeditors, my agent has not notified me, but other drivers have told me they received a notice, can anyone suggest a good reasonable priced insurance company.

No profit in hauling RV's and trailers. It's a fools game! You have to live out of your truck like a rat! The companies will leave you broke in the end. The only ones who keep doing it are either ignorant or retired with nothing else better to do. Not trying to be mean, just stating the cold hard facts that most don't want to face it's a scam folks! KEEP YOUR WALMART JOB!
