Truth is correct,
I was their for 2 years.
Now on with FedEx.
It's hard becouse they use 6 loads boards and not much other than Unipress as their only customer.
NO TEAM MILES,
they are no longer letting solos run to Laredo unless you get 2 days on the load.
That was the money maker for solos,
Thanks to a bad owner with 3 trucks.
Nice to work with, but Low miles don't pay the bills, older trucks more breakdown times.

Done more research on Zipp Express from Galatin Tennessee. Zipp has apparently grown quite a bit. Presently they are building a new terminal with driver's facilities. Zipp has added many trucks, and seems to be doing quite well.
Zipp is still using paper logs. The people there are friendly and you don't get lost in the shuffle. I would recommend Zipp to anyone looking for a down to earth company where you are a name not a number.
The rates have apparently increased also. -
Since my former experience with Zipp working for an owner operator I have placed two of my own trucks their. Zip has expanded and improved quite a bit. Presently they have all new tractors for their company trucks. I am able to run my straight trucks as a solo and do better than with all the other companies I have been with. Just wanted to update my previous comments because there is much improvement with Zipp and I would highly recommend them.
FatherGuse Thanks this. -
