    Truckstop bulletin boards..

Call Team Specific companies and they can generally hook you up.....but be careful,I've heard some real strange stories about being put in a tiny truck with a complete stranger.

Even if is prostate cancer it isn't the end of his life. My dad cured himself of it by drinking Chinese herbal tea. I don't understand why the owner can't find you another driver. Tell him to put an ad out on Craigslist.

Nope. I may have answered you incorrectly. I am with an owner contractor who originally hired me to run their FedEx lines. They then decided I was a better fit for Panther because I wussed out about running doubles in the winter. I moved to straight trucks at Panther, with the potential to move to tractors in the Summer (Life Sciences/reefer). All the Panther stuff they do is team.

I spoke with them today and I guess there was more to my codriver's story than simply thinking he had cancer. They are trying to get ahold of him over some T-Checks. I think that's why he split. I owe money on the backing incident, but Safety told me I'm only on the hook for $500. I can take care of that in a couple of good runs. Unfortunately, I still had to turn the truck in today. I asked if I could sub for any drivers who are out on extended home time. Things sound positive. I may be able to get on another truck tomorrow. If not, I am allowed to apply with a different owner and run single or team for them. The big thing is I need to get this on now. I didn't fight this long to go home.

i did put some ads up online and I'm waiting to hear from people. The sub thing is a good idea for now because I wouldn't have to wait for someone to get through orientation or risk getting someone who fails a drug test.

When I my codriver bailed at ES they let me run solo 2 months until I finally quit. I had Alicia as a FM so that may have been it.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with prostrate cancer & the doctor told him he would be impotent after surgery. Being around 50 yrs. old, he didn't want that outcome. He went to Mexico and had ultrasound treatment; now no cancer and he's healthy. Google shows how that treatment works.

Call Panther. Ask them if they have an owner who needs a driver. DO IT NOW. I would tell the owner you are with now to stick it with this situation, he is too greedy and shouldn't be an owner.

Ok this sounds fishy to me, sounds like he wants out from this fleet, because he isn't even willing to wait around and see if it really is cancer? Sounds like he has another deal lined up and needs to go now.
