I am in a world of uncertainty right now.

My codriver just bailed on me due to suspected cancer. I have no one to drive with and my truck owner is adamant that I am not allowed to run single. This hurts me very much. I WANTED THIS THING TO WORK.

Let me just say that I DID NOT go through everything I went through and I DID NOT spend the money I spent to take Greyhound home. This is NOT an option. Apart from talking with management tomorrow, I don't know what to do, but I'd sooner step in front of a bus than just go home. I mean it. I respect my codriver's decision, of course. Cancer is serious business and if it's happening, then of course that comes first.

That being said, holy #### I am really frustrated. I don't have any other jobs lined up. I can't go on unemployment. I don't know what my options are. Can I switch to a cargo van and still hit the road until another codriver materializes? I don't know what else to do and I'm desperate. My codriver is leaving in just a few hours. He isn't even hanging around to find out his detailed test results which would tell him if it's just a bladder infection. He decided it's prostate cancer and that's it.

I have no choice but to respect his decision, but it's so sudden and it leaves me in a bad place. An ugly place, really. I'd love nothing more than to walk into that office tomorrow and take whomever wants to run with me. I don't know of any other drivers in town who are with Expediter Services and ready to go.

Pray for me. I don't know what else is left.

Go solo for now. Let the 'adamant' owner figure it out, it's his problem, not yours. You did not elect for this to happen. Life happens.

go to pilot on your next ten hr and out some applications in, get the 24 hr internet. Also inside the pilot there are publication books that has the most current up to date companies that are hiring.

Don't get desperate, get in action and get moving .

Hope you find a co driver. Hate that your driver had to bail that way but cancer is a serious thing and I hope it is a bladder infection instead of cancer. Maybe he will come back after he gets the results and realizes it is just an infection.

I'd grab the CO-driver and have him get a reality check, if it is just a bladder infection, Tell him to hit the pure Grape Juice like a Brand name like Welch's or one of those, It will clear up pretty quickly! Some antibiotics will help as well, If I was him I'd take it one step at a time. also this may be censored but I learn when I first started out that if you take an extra second at the urinal and let it all drain out rather then running right back out of there that the infections stay away, I was used to going pee about every 3-4 hours well when you spread that out a little longer the things don't function as well. I diidn't mean this to be a Dr's explanation but I hope you get it figured out. Good Luck.
