So where do you park for the night when you have an RV you're hauling? I parked in a Petro once with the Class 8s and they kicked me out. I found that most truck stops don't have much in the way of RV accommodations. Some don't even have diesel at the car pumps like the TA in Seymour, IN near my home.

Just speaking for myself, I fuel at the truck pumps with my Comdata card. Most major truck stops have some parking for RVs if they are not filled with bob tails tractors I have watch many drop their trailer bob tail to the front and them go back and hook to the trailer again. When I'm under a load I never drop the trailer until I get to the dealer and my BOL is signed. I will park in the truck lots because I'm a commercial vehicle and most of the time I'm at 65ft in length. When not under a trailer I don't stop at a truck stop unless I need fuel or a shower. Parking in the RV parking you will find drunks always want to fight right next to you at 3AM while you try to sleep.

Lovely LG! LOL
You ever use Walmart parking lots? -
GearWarrant Thanks this.

Well I guess you gotta deal with the drunks then.
I was getting fuel at the truck islands too. The counter clerks sort of looked at me like they had no clue how to bill me. -
I see rv haulers at pilots and flying j's quite often. Your commercial so who cares, especially if you fuel up there too. And I stayed at a walmart in Baton Rouge once but only cause I was out of time and the only truck stop was a little pilot. I wouldn't say it was the best night sleep I ever got but I made sure I hid between some other trucks there.

I fuel at the truck pumps and stay at the truck stops all the time. I always try to park in the front but will park with the big trucks if I have to. Never been hassled by truck stop managers, truck drivers or drunks.

If you have a iPhone or Android device there is a pretty good app that has the walmart near by that are open to parking overnight. Do a search on Walmart Overnight Parking Locator in the store. I have been using it for the past year. So far - so good.

What is the best place to get an aluminum auxiliary fuel tank? And how about a 5th Wheel tool box?
