A mini float is a miniature flatbed with a tail roll pulled by a one ton pickup with either a hydraulic or pto winch they are used to move small skid mounted pieces in the oilfield and are fairly outdated as just about every well you get on has a forklift now.

A mini float is a term generally used in the hot shot industry for any trailer that is pulled by a single axle or smaller truck. Gooseneck, bumper pull, etc.
