Took over a load for another carrier, now he refuses to pay.

    Where did you deliver the trailer? Call them and ask if that trailer is still there, if it is, tell them you haven't been paid and you're going to file a lien on the VIN.

    Sorry it happened to you, but now you have full understanding of why established legal carriers despise hacks from Uship. Which any info I could gather on the info provided pointed to that site.

    Call him from a completely different area code & see if he answers. Have a friend call, if it goes to voice mail, have that person leave a message that they are needing something transported with a call back number.
    Am sure he is hoping you will drop this as small claims court will probably cost as much as what may be gained. Good luck.

    I would take it to court even if it cost double , when u win he will have to pay court costs also ,

    Call the receiver, tell him you were not paid, get him involved. If it is a regular customer of his, the trailer owner might not want to hear complaints from receiver.
