I am having a heck of a time finding a used 40Ft Flat Gooseneck. I live in Phx AZ area and have searched Commercial Truck Trader and Equipment sites, Craigslist all the way out to Dallas and Houston and anywhere else I can think of to look.
I need a true 40 Feet not 35+5 or 37+Dove Tail. I have never had this much trouble spending cash.
Any ideas?

Something like this? -
I was just browsing these the other day I think the the site was texas pride trailers .com not sure though. just google search exactly what your looking for.
-
There is a whole bunch of them in truckpaper.com.

There seem to be plenty of new trailers out there. I can order a new one and they can have it to me next week or I can go get it myself in TX but I would like to find a Used trailer. Truck paper has 5 listed and they either have dove tail and ramps, are 35+5 or they want $16K for a 8 year old trailer (CA Crack addict I am sure). It also list Container Chassis as Goose neck.
They are out there just having a hard time finding. I am wanting a 40 foot deck.
Thanks for looking for me though. I am looking at TX Pride. Not sure they will have what I am looking for. Road Boss in OKC has some new for $9K. Or I can get a JP for $11.5 new in Houston. -
Over the next several years the new one may end up. Cheaper when you figure more maint , and probly have to give it some paint and brake work ect , I always say make sure you " spend enough " not trying to be funny , I have often bought what seems like a reasonable deal and usually wish later that should bought more and likely wouldn't be having trouble ect, you might have to just order exactly what you want , ?

Ya I am thinking a new one may end up being the right way to go. There are some good used ones and some bad used ones. Seems the good ones are priced within a thousand or so of a new trailer so may as well buy a new one.
I am not trying to go cheap but I also do not want to finance anything which leaves me with about a $10K budget to still have cash for running expenses. And when I come down to it I am not sure how much I will actually clear, only thing to go on is the settlement sheets the company owner has shared with me and that fact that none of his guys are quitting or how long I will run Hot Shot. That makes me sound fickle but it is what it is. -
I bought my 40 at the big tex in tucson for $12k (I think for $11k but can't remember anymore) and it's a 2014. He's got some used trailers to. Ask for Jim, he can get you what your looking for.

Very cool thank Ned.

There are several in Missouri, I guess it depends how far you want to travel. I just bought a used 2012 40ft gator for 8,000. The gvrw is 26,600, it also came with 1500 worth of chains, straps, and over sized load stuff.
